Final Comments:
Supernatural Connections by Inkworks is definitely packed full of fun and excitement. Inkworks has once again put out an amazing looking base set with the insert sets looking even better. Supernatural Connections is the only season of the series that Trading Card Reviews has had the opportunity of reviewing a box of, but if this is any indication of the others, they must be great! Some of the insert sets aren't captured that well with a scanner, so you've got to get your hands on some of your own. The pictures just don't do these cards justice. With the Pieceworks show worn cards, autographs and all the great base & insert cards, this set is going to be hot!
If you've ever opened a box of Inkworks' products, you surely already know that the Inkworks guarantee of one complete base set per box is really an underestimate. The Trading Card Reviews box of Alias Season Four had a complete base set along with almost another whole complete set. You really can't go wrong with getting almost two complete sets from just one box! The inserts in this box were just as well designed as the base cards and there are plenty of sets to try to complete. There are often puzzle insert sets in Inkworks products and this was no exception. Who doesn't like putting puzzles together anyway? In this non-sports card review box there was a Pieceworks costume card of a show worn top from Alona Tal as Jo Harvelle in an episode of Season Two of Supernatural. The Authentic Autograph card in our review box is a redemption card for an autograph of Sterling K. Brown as Gordon Walker. It sounds as if Inkworks has decided to go along with the sports card industry and will have the signers autograph a "holographic security label" starting with Supernatural Connections. Hopefully they can make the cards still look great even with the sticker autographs. We'll have to wait until the redmption gets set back, but I'm sure that they'll make everything look great.
As always, Inkworks has put another great set out on the market for non-sports card collectors to enjoy. The Trading Card Reviews box was a great mix of inserts, autograph and Pieceworks show worn cards. There's a chance to pull several great Piecworks costume cards and authentic Autographed cards of the show's stars! With the almost two complete sets, the Pieceworks card, and the autograph this is a great set for anybody who's ever been a fan of the Supernatural series. This is definitely something to look for at your local hobby shop or on eBay (
).
*As a side note: The expired redemption card from the Lost Season Twonon-sports card review box has been confirmed to in stock and in the process of being redeemed! I'll be sure to post a scan of it as soon as it comes in, but here's what it should look like:
Thanks again for checking out another great non-sports card review from Trading Card Reviews!!
