Final Comments:
Topps has put 2007-08 Bowman Elevation Basketball out on the market and it is HOT!!! Our box was overloaded with rookies, parallels & game used jersey cards! We were lucky enough to get our hands on a Hot Box that was stuffed with all kinds of hits. The 07-08 Bowman Elevation Basketball boxes would be great fun to open even without the hot box, but we got lucky with ours. The guaranteed hits in these boxes are amazing and with the possibility out there to hit a hot box, it's just even more enticing to run out and get a couple boxes.
It's always fun to get more than the promised hits from a box and this was certainly one of those times. Each of the 12 packs in this box had a hit and either a rookie or low numbered parallel card. All in all we ended up finding nine of the promising rookies #/999. There was also a nice surprise with one of the low numbered parallels being the promising young rookie Arron Afflalo #/99. Along with the Afflalo short print, the other low numbered cards included veterans Shawn Marion (#/99) and Loul Deng (#/49).
In total, we ended up getting 12 relic cards out of this box of 2007-2008 Bowman Elevation Basketball. There were 16 total pieces of game used jersey (since some were multi piece cards). One of those 12 game used jersey cards ended up being a sweet 3 colored game used patch card of Shaq #/29 and another one being a dual jersey piece card of Magic Johnson #/49.
With so many other hits packed into this box, there was an autograph left out. Normally this would be a problem, but with all of the other great basketball cards stuffed into this review box it more than made up for it. The autograph that was in the box is another nice low numbered parallel version of Wilson Chandler #/15. Topps has once again put out another great product with 2007-2008 Bowman Elevation Basketball cards.
