Final Comments:
Topps Co-Signers Basketball is loaded once again this year. All-Stars, legends, up-and-coming young stars and rookies are all a part of this wonderfully designed set. The base and rookie cards have two overlayed images of the featured player that just pop right off the card. The Trading Card Reviews box had a little of everything to keep it exciting throughout the entire break. The three rookies that were included are all promising first round picks in this past year's draft. They were all #/499 and were of: Nick Young of the Washington Wizards, Javaris Crittenton of the LA Lakers and Wilson Chandler of the New York Knicks. The 10 promised Changing Faces Parallel Cards carry two images of two different players on a team. It's a very intersting insert set that highlights how the league is constantly evolving every single season. TCR also received three Red Gold cards (each #/109), two Blue Gold cards (each #/89) and two Green Gold cards (each #/59). There were also three inserts from the "Hyper" insert set. These cards are even more beautifully designed than the regular base cards and are by far the coolest looking cards I've seen in some time. In addition to looking so great, they are also the most limited version of the Changing Faces Parallel. The three that were in this box were: Hyper Silver Red #/39 of Bargnani/Bosh, Hyper Silver Blue #/29 of Boozer/Stockton and Hyper Red Gold Garnett/Allen #/9 (what a find!!). The single autograph is of Jameson Curry of the Chicago Bulls and the Co-Signer Dual Autograph is of Taurean Green & Jarrett Jack of the Portland Trail Blazers. Once again Topps has put out a really, really nice mid-ranged set that gives you great "bang for your buck" with the two guaranteed autographs (especially with one of them being guaranteed to be a dual autograph).
