This 2007 Topps Performance Football Hobby box was full of fun. Odds of finding an autograph of the Rookie of the Year Adrian Peterson are really good (1 per Case), so that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the break. The design of the base cards gives appearance that the player is jumping right off of the card, so even those are fun to look at.
The nine base cards in the Trading Card Reviews pack were highlighted by Farve and Tomlinson. The Base card parallel was of Brian Griese which is limited to only 10. The two Rookie Cards are short printed versions and they are: Vikings WR, Sidney Rice #/359 & Steelers LB LaMarr Woodley #/199. There was also a sweet triple relic card #/60 of Titans WR Paul Williams. It was great that there were three autographs guaranteed per pack because you can be sure that there will be plenty of excitement while busting open this pack. The relic autograph of the very promising rookie WR Laurent Robinson of the Falcons was also a very sharp looking card. The Breakout auto, of Packers RB DeShawn Wynn, is the Bronze version limited to only 50. And the big autograph hit of the pack, a Packer great, Hall Of Famer Paul Hornung, limited only to 20.
Overall, this was a very exciting pack of Topps football cards to open because of all the hits mixed in throughout the wonderfully designed base cards. It may not have been quite as much fun if the Hornung auto wasn't in this pack, but you'll find that type of a "gamble" in all comparable high end sports card products.
Thanks again for checking out another great football card review from Trading Card Reviews!! |
